Dear Reader,
Hello! Thank you for meeting with me out
here in cyber space. This blog is part of a Meetup Challenge to write a blog
post on a single topic every day for 30 days. My topic is Letters, so you will see a letter a day on this blog. My first
letter is to you, dear reader, to let you know that I appreciate you showing
up.
This Challenge is a game of sorts and it
wouldn’t be very fun without you. Here I am tossing a ball out into the void
and without out you, the pass would be incomplete. You see, I am hoping you
will catch the ball by reading my words. Then you get to decide if you toss it
back to me by way of a comment, or throw it to someone else, by sharing it with
other people. Please, play with me. Here
is an open invitation to interact.
Another part of the challenge is to wear
a lanyard meant to be a conversation starter. This part is definitely a bit
more out of my comfort zone than the blogging part. For those of you who are
finding this blog online (as opposed to hearing about it from me in person),
here is what it says on my lanyard:
Marketer • Writer
• Reader • DayDreamer
Ask me about: Disneyland
Tell me about: Your Favorite
Book
Three Words I Love:
BRAVE MAGIC HARMONY
So, tell me dear reader, what is your favorite book? Write to me in
the comments below and I will be sure to write you back.
I look forward to sharing more letters with
you!
Yours Truly,
I love Disney and books! This is why Belle is part of my username. My favorite book is East of Eden, but I love so many books by John Steinbeck. I can go on and on talking about Steinbeck.
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting. love Belle too! I haven't read East of Eden yet, but I'll add it to my list. 😊
DeleteHi Me! So excited to be part of your letters. Thanks for letting us into your world. My favorite book is "Perfume" by Patrick Suskind. It's a dark book and gorgeously written! I've read it 3-4 times and still love every page. ~ Kelly
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Kelly! Perfume is beautifully written, so much of it is very poetic. 😍
